And also, do you happen to know a way to remove the leftover "artifact" after having removed Samsung's Honeyboard? Just installed Heliboard as part of my degoogling processs and it's GREAT.

Rooted Samsung Galaxy S23

Hamas has rebuffed a proposal by the US-backed “Board of Peace” to disarm the group, citing ongoing Israeli violations of the first phase of the ceasefire.

Palestinian sources with direct knowledge of the talks told Middle East Eye that Hamas views the plan, presented earlier this month, as a “trap” designed to ignite civil war in the Gaza Strip and destabilise Palestinian society.

The group fears the proposal would leave Palestinians in Gaza defenceless while allowing Israeli-backed armed gangs to operate freely and spread disorder.

“Hamas completely rejects this,” a Gaza-based source said, adding that opposition is even stronger within its military wing, the Qassam Brigades, which considers disarmament “collective suicide”.

spoilerPersonally? No, absolutely not. There should be no differentiating between what can be measured, and what cannot.

I can't help but look at the reproducibility issue in "Psychology" and notice, what did they do about it? Nothing. It just exists. It's not real science.

I'm not a political person but I've noticed that for example Reddit has a more left leaning moderation in comparison to what X (Twitter) is.

For example, if someone does hate speech against LGBT people on X and you report them the moderation team will tell you that the content didn't break the rules and guidelines, but if you as an LGBT person answer to the homophobic conservatives with the same energy you'll get a 24 hours suspension from posting or interacting.

I've personally experienced this many times and it's making me so annoyed specially since there's huge accounts on X that are dedicated to spread extreme hate even wishing death on other people.

Mediators are seeking to extend the United States-Iran ceasefire, as hopes of reaching an agreement before Wednesday’s deadline faded on Sunday, sources have told Middle East Eye.

Senior regional officials said progress had been made in recent days on key issues, including Iran’s enriched uranium, the Strait of Hormuz and the future of Tehran’s allied armed groups across the region.

However, the mood shifted over the weekend, according to a senior Turkish official.

“There are several moving parts in the negotiations. Some are on track, but the gaps in others remain too wide to bridge,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity, like other sources in this report.

Those who use the bike know this very well: in the city, speeding motorists overtaking other cars, only get one thing: they arrive first to the next red.

With a simple model, the author estimated the probability that one car that overtakes another, will then be reached again at a later red light. Then he estimated the probability that the same thing will happen when there are multiple successive traffic lights, as usual in the cities.

The result is that as fast as an aggressive driver goes, the presence of multiple traffic lights makes it virtually certain that a slower driver will catch up

So, if someone aggressively overcomes you, when you reach him at the next traffic light, you can tell him that it is mathematically proven that he/she is an idiot.

In addition, this study has implications for the 30 km/h city, demonstrating how in urban areas the traffic lights determine the travel times, not the maximum speed reachable between one traffic light and the next.

The original scientific article is here: https://royalsocietypublishing.org/rsos/article/13/4/260310/481212/The-Voorhees-law-of-traffic-a-stochastic-model
