Today’s game is Baldur’s Gate 3. I managed to get my friends together to keep playing and we went into the under dark. So far it has been hell. For example: These fuckass birds. I was stumbling around down there doing stealth and suddenly got spotted by one from the other side of a huge pit. And what does it do? It calls all its friends. And suddenly my entire party is swarmed by like 3 of these things and a random drow that seems to have an issue with us.

We had another friend that wanted to join our campaign but the 4 player limit stopped him. I tried getting a mod that raises the count to 8 to work, but I found out it’s crossplay is broken and in order to use it I need to switch to the Windows Build instead of the Native Linux one. So I gave up and we just started another save. He was asking pretty hard for mods, so I took the liberty of adding the gunslinger just for fun. I came up with this lady.

The mod is actually kind of broken because it just has a spell that chucks like 25 guns at you and they don’t need Ammo or anything. Because of that I try to stay mostly out of combat.

Anyways, going back to the main save. After killing those birds and then getting into a fight with some slavers further back. I went and made my way to the tree I was looking for. I went into sneak mode so I didn’t piss anyone off. Apparently though Shadowheart didn’t get the Memo and didn’t sneak. So she got seen. I didn’t though! I ended up just climbing onto this branch and playing with Photo Mode since the others were about to quit anyways. I like to imagine you can hear Shadowheart fighting for her life back there.

I also tried to get a party picture but couldn’t get the framing right and Baldur’s Gate 3’s photo mode for some reasons highlights things. So I took this and gave up for the night. I think I was onto some thing. I’m not sure what though

I just loaded it up myself, and it's working great. It sounds like the port also has modding support, so there's that to look forward to. The port also provides a debug menu, so I can get a custom color lightsaber like this:

Today’s game is Pokemon Soul Silver. I’m about to take on the Pokemon League, but before I do I want to try and fill out the Johto Dex. I’d like to have to avoid doing return trips that way.

I had gotten the Master Ball and decided to use it on Lugia. I usually go without using it, but this time I wanted to try something different because I always end up with an extra Master Ball I don’t use. I’ll always try and save it for a bigger fish, and never end up using it.

Since I’m running all around the region I decided to check in on some of the NPCs. Lyra is one of the ones I checked on. Now that I’m thinking about it though what did she do? I know she went with us on our journey a few places but I don’t remember much beyond that.

Anyways, tomorrow I’m gonna try and fill out some more of that National Dex. I don’t think it will be too hard but we’ll see.

This also includes an update to DX11 and many graphics rendering updates.

There are a plethora of interface updates that make the controls more modern than Rome 2 and Shogun 2.

It now smoothly runs at over 100 fps, while having better graphics and more units on screen.

Just wanted to share the new trailer for my horror game that I am working on which is mostly inspired by a real life location in Mexico, Resident Evil, Silent Hill and a little bit of outlast mixed in with some Mexican folklore into it.

Today’s game is Baldur’s Gate 3. I finally reinstalled it so I could finish playing through it with friends. And when I say “Playing” I really mean finding any excuse I can to play with the Photo mode. Like legit this has got to be one of my favorites just for the ability to position them in the game world.

We were a friend short today so we went and did the witch instead. I tried to sneak in but they saw me and I got absolutely demolished. Honestly I like and dislike that. It enforces teamwork, but also I’m shit at teamwork and impatient, so it really is a challenge for me.

I ended up getting to control a whole second character all day which was fun. Tomorrow I return control but it was fun while it lasted. I think I’d like to try and play some more tomorrow so we can progress the main quest. I’ll have to see though.

The car industry needs you to design and build the greatest car parks that simple town life hasn't seen before. Introduce the need for car commuting and turn neighborhoods into car parks! Use propaganda to convince people to pay you for it. Fight people that see through your oily business.

I went to see this game on Steam's newest release tab, but the surprise (besides a nice affirmation that it sits at Very Positive reviews at this time) was realizing that it didn't come from Electronic Arts or Ubisoft.

The article is technically pretty old now, but adds more details that have been made a lot more relevant on the game's release.

Edit: I decided to use the internal speakers of the TV, as they are not as bad as I remembered them. So this is no longer an issue for me.

I connected the Series S console to my secondary display, a bigger and old TV from 2010 via HDMI. I use the TVs audio output to connect it with my speakers AUX input, so I can use the same speakers used by my PC. Everything is fine, besides the console is a bit too loud. It always outputs at 100% volume and I have to volume down my speakers with the knob. Sounds reasonable, but then my PC gets too much muted, even on 100% output from PC. Changing the volume on the TV just changes the output for its own internal speakers.

Ideally I would like to control the volume for audio output from XBOX. But it seems not to have any such settings. Any idea what I can do?

Background: I got the console from my brother and played a bit around with it back then. It's been 3 years since I used the console last. As a Linux PC Gamer, there are times when I can't play certain games. In such cases a console could help, because I do not want to install Windows. I have an old account and it was painful to get it all running again, with back and forth of accounts, emails and pins and passwords. Modern gaming.

I mean, pre-order bonuses for the remake of Ocarina of Time (on Switch 2) vary on region: Japan gets bonus art cards, stickers and a paper stand while both the UK and some EU countries gives buyers spiritual stones (France has a wallet) & Canada gets a N64 slipcover for the game. The only thing "universal" for pre-order bonuses is the textured foil cover, other than that: the USA doesn't have anything unique given to people there.

I’m lucky enough to call both Russ from Retro Game Corps and Lee (who some of you will probably know better as Wild Lee from Venture Electronics) friends, which made this a particularly fun article for me to put together.

It’s a look at Lee, VE and some of the earbuds he sent me to try, including the Monk GTS and GTR (the latter designed specifically with retro gaming in mind, with Russ helping to bring it to life), but it also gets into the friendship and history between Lee and Russ, how they’ve worked together over the years, and a little of the story behind the people involved rather than a review on the earbuds. I’ve tried to make it as much about Lee and the strange, enthusiastic little world around VE as it is about the hardware itself. Hope some of you enjoy it!

GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek has returned to publish a 24-minute gameplay video that has left fans scrambling to issue spoiler warnings across the internet.

Today’s game is Pokemon Soul Silver. I keep nearly typing platinum out of habit. I guess it’s become engrained in me. I also think a part of me wasn’t quite ready to leave it behind. I might make another stop there and go see some of the post game stuff. I’ve never messed with them and want too. I hear I can even get a house.

Anyways. I’m right before the last gym. Finishing up team rocket and about to head over now. It’s weird. I felt like this game went really fast. I know HGSS also have Gen 1 in it, so I wonder if the stories are shorter so there’s less of a grind to get to Kanto. Then again. It could be a placebo.

This ice gym kind of ticked me off with the last puzzle. After that I kind of needed to cool off. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad though after I solved it. I kept missing the correct order when sliding them, and I couldn’t figure out how I was supposed to. I ended up getting it after some finagling.

Anyways. I left off stumbling into this art gallery place with all these paintings on the wall. I thought it was interesting and want to look more into it later. It feels too big to not be used for something.
