i thought the one ball was more known? I remember it being a funny topic in history lessons.
Indeed, it's a factoid that I heard/learnt somewhere.....
Possibly from one of those "Astonishing Facts You Didn't Know" toilet-tank books from the 1980s, before we had electronic poopy-time entertainment machines
I'm 42, and this is the first I'm hearing of it.
31 here, pretty interesting. I'm from the UK, I don't know if that changes anything.
I recall hearing it got blown off in WWI.
