FAQ

"How much does traveling cost?"

Cost of living(rent, utilities, data/wifi, groceries) is $500 USD per month for most countries, up to $1000 for most others.

"Health care and insurance?"

Health care and insurance abroad are both pennies on the US dollar for the highest quality of medical care

"What about visas?"

You usually don't need them; when necessary, visas are almost all entirely online: a fifteen minute e-form and nominal fee offset in your first day by the drastically lower cost of living abroad.

"How do you make money while abroad?"

Any job that nets you $500+ a month works. There are almost 2 billion English students globally right now, so native English speakers have lucked into a guaranteed job on or offline.

"What qualifications do I need as an English teacher?"

Some countries and schools require a TEFL certificate or prefer candidates with an associate's degree depending on the position, but if you want to teach English, all you need is to be a fluent English speaker.

Very nice of her. I like his face. Ancient history, ~14000 years as an effigy.

Dogū in general, not my guy.

Baggage fees increase relentlessly. Use jacket luggage. They can weigh your bags, but not your clothes.

Zanzibar has been stuck in my head ever since the first Tenacious D album came out. Looks like some pretty nice places to rent on the islands

Pretty comfortable 20-minute hike to the top of the island after a three-minute ferry ride to Kashima.

I just learned this festival exists, is it fun? Are you just sitting around drinking beer or what does it entail?

Perfectly grilled tender beef patty, dense fluffy bun, thick cut sauteed mushrooms, 4 types of cheese, thick-cut fried bacon and some white sauce(I think a Beshamel, but my Japanese sure ain't good enough to check).

The saison worked its own magic.

They even provide pre-meal hand towels and burger bags so you can smash the hamburger down before biting into it.

Clean plate club.

Apparently pope benedict asked these Spaniards to stop jumping over babies, and they're like, "look I get you're the pope, but.....can't stop won't stop."

The famous sakura, Somei Yoshino, are finally blooming for a few days, but it rained all day today, so I'm not sure what tomorrow will look like.

It was pretty cool to hang out under some sakura treed while their petals fell.

sweet soy sauce mochi balls?

I like unflavored mochi, so I think I'm going to wash these off and then bob will be your uncle.
