Oh, that's hilarious.
Not only are data centres a legitimate target due to being used by the military, they're also a relatively small building filled with very valuable, very fragile equipment. So, if you want to cause significant problems for your enemy, they just make sense as a target.
All the more reason not to put these in residential areas...
But if we use human shields we can protect capital!
