Voting for things then getting mad at them is a Texas tradition. I had to stop talking to people because hearing people say "God damn [insert politician] rabble rabble rabble. I mean, I voted for him and will again, but fuck that guy." Somewhere in their brain files is a line that says politicians are untrustworthy bastards and instead of fixing it they make it a self fulfilling prophecy.

Kinda wonder what the Mexican MAGA dude I worked with back in 2016 thinks of 'em. I had heard plenty of racism towards mexicans from white dudes before, but this guy, who was Mexican himself and proud of it, used the B slur more than anyone I ever met directed at "illegals." Dude was an absolute dipshit and I was hella happy when I no longet had him as my partner (cuz he got fired after getting a DUI and his license suspended).
