If I'm reading these comments correctly, I sould be seeking a late career change to a trade of some sort. I've haven't seen a robot plumb a shitter (yet).
This is true in 2026. I bet at one point, auto workers had the same kind of thoughts about how robots could never build a whole car.

Ah don't worry. With robots we're getting there.
By the time AI is capable of finishing buildings it will choose to eradicate us instead.
The construction industry is one of the most heavily automated and mechanized industries in existence. We just don't think about things like "back hoe", "crane", "nail gun" or "concrete plant" as forms of automation because they have been around for so long, but they have all replaced more manual aspects of construction processes.
