It's just that 67 is lame. It's a reference to some video so whatever, but the creepy thing about it is people are expected to laugh uncontrollably when they hear the number. And they do it because they have to do whatever social media demands of them.
The whole 67 thing is cringey.
I was in a (synth|dark)wave party last week and the DJ was doing this build up and just before the drop someone screamed (like really loud) SIX SEVEN!!!! and the build up paid with that. Everyone around me was laughing their ass off while dancing. 5/7 would drop 67 again.
2137...
JP2GMD (jorking past to get my doritos) (2137 is the gamer number!!!)
I recently had to go to a building whose address was 6769. I literally wouldn't be able to remember it were it not for that number
37 - “Am I nothing to you?”
“In a row?”
Try not to find any more numbers on the way to the parking lot!
Don't forget 23 skiddoo!
42?
I mean a 72 is a 69 with three fingers up your ass, but what it's a 42?
6-7 is over, no?
Humans don't work like that. Geographically, some trends finish in the area they started before they even reach other areas, though the internet has reduced the time lag. But there will be people who get into it before it's a trend, people that get into it because it's a trend, and people who continue to repeat it after it's a trend because they either like it or miss the time when it was a trend. It only dies off as those that hold on to it die off.
So 6-7 will be with us for a long time, though it's frequency of use could be on a downward trend.
