Pipepipe doesn't play soundcloud songs for me since a couple of days and it is marked as legacy anyway. Firefox doesn't play songs, and vanadoum also has issues sometimes.

What do you use or recommend to listen to sets on soundcloud?

The Morphe patches themselves are FOSS, but they are patches on top of the proprietary official SoundCloud app, which ultimately still makes it proprietary.

soundcrowd had several issues when I checked it out a few months ago. Iirc it was about how it fisplays songs, sorting, filtering, subscribing. It wasn't a good experience

Grayjay is open-source but not free to use, though you can technically use it without paying. I paid for it but would maybe not, now that I find more about FUTO's political line

What do you mean? Grayjay is a client that supports many media providers, including soundcloud
