Born to be Alive is a Chinese drama set in the 1990s, a Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region depended heavily on farming and livestock, sinking into poverty. A nearby uninhabited zone with minerals and wildlife attracted poachers and illegal miners.

There's probably another neo-Western American series that this is more similar to than Longmire. My first thought is the series of thriller novels by CJ Box, Joe Pickett, which I understand to be about a game warden fighting murderous poachers. But Longmire is more well-known, so I felt that would better serve the joke.

There's a linked playlist that has some (all?) episodes on YouTube but it is geo-blocked in Amerikkka. However I easily found it on pirate streaming sites, with much better subtitles than the auto-translated version provided by YouTube.

They've got some Motorola thing that was an upgrade over whatever Samsung A series they had before. the roommates being 2 (3?) different cellar spiders in my bedroom. my smoke detector woke me up doing its bullshit EoL beep and when I was shining my flashlight at it trying to see if it had an indicator light on, I noticed this huge ass singular strand of web stretching from the corner where the smoke detector is mounted to the corner where my bed is.

Now I've been aware I've had at least one cellar spider companion for awhile now, since there's a giant molt husk of one in an abandoned web in the obnoxiously high ceiling of my closet but I assumed it died since I hadn't noticed any more webs pop up in my closet.

Anyways, I got a broom to clean the web and noticed the spider clinging to my wall. Terrified of the giant. Anyways I left him or her be but decimated their web. But lo and behold, on the other side of that singular strand - above my bed - was another cellar spider clinging to the wall. I am so confused at what they're eating though because the ground is clean and I did not see anything in their webs besides a single gnat. Whatever the case, I hope they do not retaliate for me destroying their homes but I didn't like seeing the giant shadow of a web across my ceiling when I was disconnecting the smoke detector.

A very dangerous new nightmare we are living in Gaza City, and no one in the world is paying attention to it.

Days ago, the Israeli army installed huge military cranes, each about 30 meters tall, on the eastern areas it controls. These cranes are equipped with machine guns and cameras, and they fire randomly and almost continuously at tents, streets, and exposed neighborhoods.

Gaza City is extremely narrow, only 10 kilometers wide. A single crane at that height is enough to expose the entire city from east to west. Every street, every square, every tent, every house has become completely exposed. There is no place to hide, and not a single moment of safety.

In just the past two days, three people were killed by fire from these cranes. One of them was sitting quietly with his father in a small café, trying to breathe for a few minutes. Hours later, a 5year old girl was killed while playing near her home.

These cranes have turned the entire city into an open field. The latest military technologies are directed at civilians. We have become an open testing ground for their new weapons. The horror is not just in the sound… it is the constant feeling of being an exposed target at all times, where even children cannot run in the street without fear.

Ernesto Che Guevara was born into a wealthy family in Argentina, where he studied medicine. His leftist militancy led him to participate in the opposition against Juan Domingo Perón; Since 1953 he traveled through Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and Guatemala, discovering the prevailing misery among the masses of Latin America and the omnipresence of North American imperialism in the region, and participating in multiple opposition movements, experiences that definitely inclined him towards Marxism.

In 1955 Ernesto Che Guevara met Fidel Castro and his brother Raúl Castro in Mexico, who were preparing a revolutionary expedition to Cuba. Guevara befriended the Castros, joined the group as a doctor, and landed with them in Cuba in 1956. Once the guerrillas settled in the Sierra Maestra, Guevara became Fidel's lieutenant and commanded one of the two columns that came out of the eastern mountains toward the west to liberate the island. He participated in the decisive battle for the capture of Santa Clara (1958) and finally entered Havana in 1959, ending the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.

The new revolutionary Cuba granted Guevara Cuban nationality and appointed him head of the Militia and director of the Agrarian Reform Institute (1959), then president of the National Bank and Minister of Economy (1960), and, finally, Minister of Industry (1961). ). In those years, Guevara represented Cuba in various international forums, in which he frontally denounced US imperialism. Because of a report from someone there on P2P, i made a mistake in giving him the correct address. I didn't realize I gave him a different account number than mine.
