They've been playing ads around here claiming they don't use water anymore. Hopefully no one believes it.
A zoomer coworker last year insisted to me that the water and energy usage stats were overblown.
I’m still baffled by that. Why the fuck would you simp for the AI bubble and big tech that hard..?
Water could be overblown in some rare cases, if they have a well designed cooling system that doesn't just evaporate all the potable water... But that's way more expensive so none of them have that...
The water usage pales in comparison to the energy usage however...
