A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

This week I've been playing Lumines Remastered on PC. I dumped so many hours into the original one on PSP. The port is very faithful to the original while also adding some nice updates to make it home on PC.

I did have a weird issue where having Vsync enabled made the controls hyper sensitive but turning it off fixed that.

I also don't have much time to game these days so it's nice to be able to pick up a quick, low commitment game that's still engaging.

I played the Switch version a bit a few years ago, really fun puzzle game and the Switch version did some nice things with its HD Rumble.

The Switch is a great form factor to play on. I always thought the game felt more natural in the hands than on a big screen but maybe that's just because I first played it on the PSP. There's a sequel that just came out last year which looks great. Will be a future entry for my patient gaming list
