Oh wow. That is next level. If someone builds a sauna out of fuel rods, do yourself a favour and don't go in there.
Being next to the fuel rods is a bad idea. That's not where or how they're being stored.
However, I'm not scared of a little radiation. If you are, then don't go outside and live in a lead bubble. I'm not trying to be irradiated, but I don't have some paralyzing fear of it. We adapted to live in a world with constant low-level ionizing radiation. It's only dangerous at high levels it seems. The linear no-threshold model is outdated and doesn't represent reality.
Also, I like that I named the facility and now you're just ignoring that. Do you recognize that it's a thing now?
