That seems insanely cheap, did you miss a zero in there? I've seen nice apartments for 2-3K rmb/mo in T2 cities, per year seems crazy.

I'll ask if I can mention the location, I didn't say specifically for privacy reasons. Its possible the specific region she is in subsidizes the housing for low income people, idk the specific logistics of how she came to that price. She did mention they don't live in a city center but it didn't matter because it had train access.
