I really hope this ends up being the push I need to quit Reddit.
Now? All the egregious behavior leading up to this point gave you no pause?
TOR somehow works, even without the .onion site.
What did you expect??
At the end of June they announced this would be rolling out "over the next month". So anyone who can still use old reddit without logging in could still run into it soon.
Oh no!
Well, anyway

The bullshit factory made bullshit
Well, yeah? Already for a decade now, and they're quite good at it, but what is the news here?
It’s okay, a lot of criminals, surveil it.
Tor browser seems to work just fine.

Edit: Well they could have worded "accounts are required to access old reddit" a lot better.
~~I'm actually okay with this if it means more people get to check out old reddit. That said, I'm a bit confused: why is reddit now requiring all accounts to log into old reddit? I thought they wanted everyone using the new site? Did they have a change of heart? It's kind of odd to force people to visit the old site to login now, you know?~~
~~Furthermore, why are you looking at new reddit to begin with? I go directly to the old.reddit URL so I never see messages like this (they only pop up if you're on new reddit). If it was unintentional, you can use Old Reddit Redirect to solve that problem.~~
this message was what you get today trying to go to old reddit (i had orr enabled)
