At the south and north poles you have polar nights, which are more than a day long. The polar circles are defined by the latitude beyond which you have a least 1 day of polar night per year.

Example at exactly the North Pole, 90ยฐ North, polar night is about September 25 to March 17
The longest night would probably be somewhere in the arctic circle or antarctica due to axial tilt. The least sunshine goes to the Faroe Islands.
Growing up, I had always heard the least sunny place was Prince Rupert, BC, Canada. It's both scenic and dreary. I think the reason is that they are somewhat affected by axial tilt, but the weather conditions cause a lot of overcast and foggy days
I'm not as high up as Prince Rupert, but in the Vancouver area; We do get awesome summers with sunrise that seems like 4:30 am at times. Maybe not true sunrise but so bright that it appears as daylight.
And then we have "Winter" which is rain from end of September through May, where you don't see sky because its just on big giant foggy cloud mass overhead.
In Vancouver, if you can see the mountains, that means it's going to rain.
If you can't see the mountains, that means it's already raining!
