I don’t know what you’re on about, mate

I’m pointing out that a game that needs 12GB of VRAM on its GPU doesn’t care if you have 128GB or 512GB of system RAM, because the GPU can’t use that RAM. You’re not going to have games that require 128GB of system memory that also work on an 8GB GPU.

This isn’t controversial or hard to understand.

You took the wrong message from what I said.

The stock market isn’t “wrong” - it’s the stock market. Tesla is worth what the stock market says it is, quite literally. Hype, corruption……yeah, that’s the stock market.

You can’t just take “hype” out of the stock market because that’s one of the biggest, most essential parts of it.

Do you not understand what I said?

They’re calling it a 4K60 machine and it has no hope of doing that either.

Sorry I’m out at the shops and wrangling the kids at the moment, so will do a full reply later.

Solar feed in charges: https://repositpower.com/blog/blog/the-solar-tax-has-arrived-now-what

What is happening now doesn’t matter, as it’s all going to radically change as the AEMO plan states that 60% of all grid storage is home battery storage, and that the power companies draw from this at will - and they’re not going to pay for it. Power companies are in the business of making money, and politicians are in their back pockets for those sweet lobbying dollars and post-politics executive jobs.

To make all this work they need everyone with smart meters, and solar and batteries. What they’re doing now is getting everyone to get them installed via incentives, so when everyone has them they can start stealing your power and charge you for it and there’s nothing you can do.

Tesla have their valuation because that’s what the market decides they’re worth based on past performance, future predictions, leadership, etc. That’s all there is to it. You think they’re overvalued because you hate their CEO and “founder”. While I don’t agree with the stock market, they’re far more correct than you are. Things are worth what people will pay.

Teslas are still the flagship EV brand. Not being the highest selling doesn’t change that. Did you not understand the Corolla/Lamborghini example?

Not really. This is made to play current games, and it’s underpowered for that no matter what the price is. It could still be great value while being underpowered.

Think about it like this - if you expect to play cyberpunk, would a $1 raspberry pi that can play it at 1fps be underpowered? It’s still great value at $1, but surely you can agree that for the job at hand it is underpowered?

Yep, and Valve have also said that it will be priced competitively with other similar gaming PCs.

Also the government recently made it legal for power companies to charge you for your exports, which you need to be on a VPP for them to do, and at the same time the government is incentivising everyone to get a smart meter, on a VPP, and solar and batteries……

Coincidence?

[–] FreedomAdvocate 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I’m just saying what happen. The government even said that power companies will likely make up for the losses of those 3 hours by increasing prices in the other hours.

You’re the one saying that it is malware without any evidence, so you are the one saying God exists without any proof here lol

You need to learn about context.
