Kind of a crap joke tbf but I couldn’t think how else to (tastefully) show what he might do with modern AI had he lived to see it today. The basic joke is that he used AI to redact the files (or someone else did idk) like I said it’s kinda a crap joke

You should advertise yourself to the market

Yeah but lazy buggers wouldn’t stop at hanging clothes up. And they know it

So so accurate. All the while the community of perpetual users of AI (Actual Imbeciles) sit back on their arses picking fights with a phone screen 🙄

That pretty much sums it up. Of course, and it might just be with hindsight, but sometimes I do wonder why anyone ever thought things would turn out like that? 🤔

It’s these kinds of comments that make my day

Haven’t tried that community, I’ll have to have a look round 🧐

Yeah I really screwed up there, I confess. I’m actually kicking myself that I didn’t see it was AI

Pretty much. Though some still don’t know

One of the many mouthpieces of madness is claiming that ‘leaders’ are pumping doom laden information (read misinformation) about AI, including some leading voices of AI development.

Read the story here

Breaking news: mere hours ago (stretching the definition of breaking, I know) the new UK Prime Penister — ahem! Minister — announced new classes for children age 14 including classes on AI.

Now, to me this could go either way. Either, it opens these children’s eyes to the problems with AI and actually encourages the next generation to solve the issues of AI, or this lazy generation might end up being indoctrinated into the greed and corruption surrounding AI. Knowing the fallibility of human beings, in my humble opinion it is most certainly the latter, but who knows? What are your thoughts on this announcement?

So when are they gonna apologies for all the environmental damage AI has already caused, whether directly or indirectly?

Good grief, has she not seen all the advances in medical technology in the last 50 years? Life saving technology? How can someone with such high qualifications be this stupid?

And on a side note, she also says ‘AI is for everyone’. if AI is for everyone, why doesn’t she champion for companies to stop putting AI technologies up behind paywalls and subscriptions? 🤔

Does this show the disadvantages of OpenAI’s development strategies that they made something able to do this, or do you think there is something else at play here?

Hi there, fediverse!

I’m relatively new to this, so I’ll just cut to the chase: I have founded a community based around lack of interest/distain for artificial intelligence, which I hear is quite a common sentiment across the fediverse and is certainly one that I share. For as we have witnessed the rise of AI, the more I have personally come to distain it in every corner of life, and I’m certain I’m not alone.

As a result, I offer you an invitation to join a safe community space where you can freely vent your frustrations towards AI without worrying about the prospect of being banned/reprimanded. Here, we can analyse AI news, scrutinise AI actions, or just vent our frustrations towards AI itself.

Many thanks.
