Imo people always crack eggs wrong

  1. You want to crack your eggs on a flat surface like a countertop, not an angular one like a pan or bowl. When you break it on a bowl, you're really just punching a hole in it, and you use that to get leverage to break the egg in two. But the rest of the shell has its structural integrity, so it's still difficult and causes problems. When you break it on a flat surface, the entire shell cracks which makes breaking it easier.

2.You want to twist the two halves, not split them. This isn't something ive heard anyone do, but I dont see why not. Twisting them breaks the shell in two while keeping the contents inside, which then allows you to pull them apart and dump them. This way you don't have to worry about doing both in the same move.

This is anecdotal of course, but I wanted to share this somewhere cause I feel like it's wierd that people break eggs in the most inefficient method
