Except it is. You believe the DPRK is bad because of western propaganda, perpetuated by the US. If you think the US is bad then why are you also believing what they say about their adversaries that they've known to lie about before? ๐ง
Are citizens in the DRPK allowed to exit the country whenever they want?
What makes you think they can't other than US propaganda? Once again, why are you willing to believe what the US says about it's adversaries that it's lied about before? Do you not remember when they lied about WMDs in Iraq?
Can they?
Once again why do you think they can't? ๐ Also nice dodge on the WMDs like it's not relevant that the US lies all the time ๐
Youโre the one dodging. Can they leave at any time without the government stopping them? Itโs a yes or a no.
Yes the fuck they can you stupid dipshit, why the fuck do you think they can't, motherfucker?
Every single country has travel restrictions what makes you think the DPRK is any different? Are you able to freely leave your country without a visa or a passport? Do you have to go through a security check at the airport to leave the country? Do you have to get government approval (not be a no-fly list)?
Okay can you leave your country without a passport? Can you board an international flight from your home country to the rest of the countries on earth without a government issued passport from your home country?
Lmfao the fact that it's devolved into this is clear bad faith discussion, this isn't even a good talking point because people from the DPRK travel and work in China all the time, and this dudes response was a chatgpt "nuh-uh"
US law states you cannot leave the United States without having a valid passport. The US does restrict people leaving the US. (Let alone how they restrict the places you can go)
Incorrect. There is no exit law that you have to possess a passport on your way out. If Iโm wrong, show me the law on the gov website.
The US (and most countries) have no laws that restrict the movement of people between countries.
Iโm saying people in North Korea, who arenโt rich or powerful, canโt just leave North Korea on a whimโฆ effectively imprisoning them.
No, you made the claim that they can't leave. The onus is on you to present evidence supporting your claim. If you can't, it means you got caught lying. Try harder next time
What, do you think people who are homeless on the streets of the US are freely able to leave the US? Do you think someone who has multiple jobs, medical debt, credit card debt, student loan debt are able to afford a vacation abroad?
Dude, do the BAREST of research. Part (b) and because you will not read the link I will quote "Except as otherwise provided by the President and subject to such limitations and exceptions as the President may authorize and prescribe, it shall be unlawful for any citizen of the United States to depart from or enter, or attempt to depart from or enter, the United States unless he bears a valid United States passport." Bolding is my own
This dummy decided to keep this loser shit going on the alt after getting cooked on main
Bro it isn't THEIR government who stops them from leaving.
Are any citizens anywhere allowed to leave whenever they want freely and without any sort of government regulation of a passport, background check, security check, government approval (ie not put on a โno-fly listโ) or without a visa or without fear of being detained for any reason whatsoever? Can I as a US citizen freely travel to Cuba? Or to Iran? Or to Palestine? Or to Venezuela? Or the DPRK?
