in the podcast they mentioned an app that scans for them and my partner asked me to find the app. I guess it may interest some people here ☞

The app, called Nearby Glasses, has one sole purpose: Look for smart glasses nearby and warn you.

It uses company identificators in the Bluetooth data sent out by these.

Make sure you're using the actual project with the links from the developer's github rather than the copycats.

If you go to the settings in the top right you can turn off canary mode and just get the actual debug logs (and you'll get a notification if there are glasses nearby)
