"The Cloud" is just someone else's computer.
At least the Litter Robots work fully offline. Mines been disconnected for like 6 months now and it still does the very basic task of rotating 15 minutes after it detects weight
Are they good? I am so bad about scooping the litter and my tiny apartment starts to reek with two cats using it. I just can't justify spending $800 on an automated litter box though
It's 100% worth it. See if you can get a discount code from someone you know that has one.
I basically only have to worry about litter once a week and I have 2 large cats using it. Smell is also almost non-existent, just make sure you give it a scrub once a month or so.
