I'm pretty sure the United States can't change the name of a body of water that's shared between multiple countries.

I didn't forget, but I'm pretty sure Trump has. I don't think he's talked about it in quite a while. I've never heard anybody actually call it the Gulf of America, and I live in the Deep South. I'm not sure it's even used by the departments in the executive branch. This will probably be a similar situation.

No it wasn't. Executive orders don't have the authority to change the names of jack shit.

Even post offices need a fucking Congressional bill to change their name.
