It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

Just deleted a Reddit account that was created in 2009 - I could no longer justify generating revenue of any kind for that $hitty company. The only reason they do literally anything is for money, nothing else

The app and new reddit are absolute garbage. I'd even call it hostile design. Always has been. Ugh.

Got it once day before yesterday, then next visit no prompt. Same browser, computer, different subreddit. Same subreddit yesterday and no prompt.
reddit is a fucking dumpster fire if you aren't logged in..... when i first joined lemmy i would still occasionally visit reddit when i got bored, but i wasn't logging in and holy shit its a fucking cesspool!
You forced me to delete my account when you banned me for "abuse of report button"
The libredirect front ends are still working, if you need a workaround..
At the end of June they announced this would be rolling out "over the next month". So anyone who can still use old reddit without logging in could still run into it soon.
TOR somehow works, even without the .onion site.
