Reading, it helps me detach from daily life. Not that daily life is hard, but at times I need the distraction. Making alcohol and distilling it in my home made still. It's a great hobby, lots of tinkering and shenanigans. And in the end you get a nice drink.

MODERATORS
I'm going to say Magic the Gathering, which is practically two games in one. I'm talking about Commander in particular, but this applies to pretty much any format under the Magic umbrella.
The first game is building the deck. That appeals to my geek-core, you're searching through literal decades of cards trying to find combos that are interesting, unique, fun, powerful, or all the above.
The second game is actually playing with other nerds. That's a social game, which is something I didn't realize I also enjoy. Nice thing about Magic is it definitely attracts a certain type. The type I want to be friends with. =)
I really enjoyed going to drafts, because I enjoy the deck-building a lot. But after trying a couple local tournaments, it became apparent that people weren't actually building their own decks at all. Everyone was just running one of the handful of decks dominating the present meta. I lost interest pretty quick.
What is your favourite hobby
I enjoy programming and listening to music. Between the 2, I would rate music higher than programming.
what do you value it for?
I'm not sure what this means in this context. Could you explain?

Plastic models, specifically Gunpla. I like working with my hands and the feeling of satisfaction of building up a kit from just pieces. I also find it kinda funny that a hobby that revolves around working at a desk by yourself has led me to multiple communities, a new friend group, and even has me traveling around some for model shows.
