This is a laughable comparison, since vinyl is selling like fucking hotcakes in recent years.

Which also is laughable as vinyl is worse audio quality, and an environmental mess, both from a transport view (its very heavy) to a meterials view (lots of pvc and often lead) and energy view (steaming the platters is the only way, and the raw materials).

But people buy it up, because of course they do.

Not defending streaming, I stream my own never used Spotify (although I love Soma FM), but there must be a better way.

Of course they would feel this way. Without disc they can keep that 100 dollar price tag forever if they choose.

I mostly bought these games at a discount when people turn them in at Game Stop or Vintage Stock. That will be no doing this with any of their games going forward.
