I think he has done a good job. Especially in the latest episode. I was sold on his Kirk after the episode last season, The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail. If he tried too hard it might fall into cringe parody. It will be interesting to see him as captain of the enterprise at the end of next season.
Same, I was skeptical at first but he’s been doing a great job. I also like that we see a lot of his brother being a part of Pike’s kickass crew before James ever takes the chair
I get a little sad every time Sam is on. Death by rubber dog vomit seems like a very yucky way to go.

That might then match Shatner's terrible acting.
Paul Wesley has done an amazing job at a portrayal of Kirk without the baggage actors often have with portraying existing characters. In fact pretty much all of the SNW cast have done a wonderful job with that.
Right? They did a great job casting. Im excited to see Thomas Jane as Bones
