Back in October 2025, we shared our initial ideas about a new feature that’s coming in Mastodon 4.6, that we’re calling Collections. Collections are a way for people on Mastodon to curate and share bundles of accounts that they’d recommend to others - helping to grow these connections more quickly, instead of newcomers hunting around for the accounts they might be interested in.

I suppose the goal is to create an alternative to LinkedIn or Xing. It’s still in its infancy, but I think it’s a remarkable idea.

Reddit prüft laut öffentlichen Aussagen seines Chefs neue Wege, um Bots und automatisierte Accounts besser auszusieben. Im Raum stehen leichte Verifizierungen über Gerätesicherheit wie Face ID oder Touch ID, aber auch härtere Prüfungen über externe Dienste. Eine feste Einführung ist bisher nicht bestätigt.

Yesterday I found Interstellar which has this feature. I assume mainly because it is not only a Lemmy app, but also a PieFed one, which has this feature in the reference frontend (AFAIK).

Are there other Lemmy apps or frontends that support thread merging?

Ich würde gerne dem funfacts.de Account bei tube.funfacts.de folgen. Ich habe dazu auf dem aktuellsten Video auf abbonieren geklickt und meinen Nutzernamen eingegeben. Allerdings bekomme ich nur eine Fehlermeldung "konnte nicht abgerufen werden". Aus feddit.org bzw. Lemmy selbst kann ich den Account gar nicht finden. Die Instanz schon gar nicht.

It's now way prettier and contains almost 1300 accounts.

You can show/hide columns, there is a powerful custom search and a button to download an CSV with the handles of all visible accounts for import. There's also the language, the country of origin, and a direct link.

Hallo, kürzlich hat lemmy.dbzer0.com eine Abstimmung über die Trennung von feddit.org durchgeführt und es scheint, dass sie als Ergebnis der Abstimmung beschlossen haben, eine diffamierende Zensur zu verhängen. Wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist. Dies ist inakzeptabel, da Feddit nicht zionistisch ist und keinerlei Zionismus fördert. Dies ist eindeutig eine Verleumdung.

This is unacceptable since Feddit is not Zionist and does not promote Zionism of any kind. This is clearly defamation.

Wie werde ich Mastodon-Redirect-Links los?

Kennt jemensch eigentlich ein Userscript oder Tool, welches diese (sehr lästigen) Redirect-Links von Mastodon-Posts im Browser durch die tatsächlich URL des Beitrags ersetzt?
Die Meldungen bin ich ein wenig leid - nicht zuletzt, weil sie die Features der sehr guten Browsererweiterung Graze for Mastodon ziemlich nachhaltig sabotieren.
