I tend to like the fact the US has a military strong enough to discourage anyone from invading/killing/raping everyone. I don't like the vast majority of what we do outside our border with said military though.
Discourage who? The fishes in the Atlantic and the Pacific ocean?
All the nations they have terrorized, bombed and stolen from.
