I ate a too hot omelette and burnt the roof of my mouth again.

Now it feels sensitive and fragile, again.

Why did we as a species, whom are omnivores, develop such thin mouth roofs?

Hippos can crush entire watermelons with their mouths, why didn't we get a tough inner roof.

Dam we got trolled by our evolutionary lineage.

Although birth pain is heavily dependent on position of birth. Western style births where the mother lays on her back is a fetish.

Most indigenous and other nations perform standing or squatting births, or other positions which are much safer for the mother.

Interesting, I was initially skeptical but this does seem probably the case. Western culture is so weird, dangit.
