Its not exciting to see the US AI industry collapsing under the weight of its own hubirs? China's like, ok seems kinda useful let's make it cheap and power the systems with all this extra renewable energy we have sitting around.
No, it isn't exciting to see the entirety of my adult years in the official economy wasted by psychopaths who want nothing but to disemploy and imprison everybody. I have to live here in the US Rust Belt, whether or not Chinese losers figure out a way to lose less with their losing machine. When the non-productive economy implodes under the weight of the climate and WW3 (5 years and running), that's not going to be a win for me.
