But have you considered we can automate white collar work and uhhh have no one that can afford goods and services?? Leading to societal collapse? Haha capitalist death drive

Data centers will also consume 1.3 billion people worth of water by 2030, and if the trend continues it could get ridiculous with how much siphoning they'd need to get from the ocean. One estimate suggests in 30 years we'd cause major ecological catastrophe from using the ocean as a heat sink, we'd essentially be boiling the ocean away. Welcome to the cool zone

Would they use some tech to block out the sun to reduce heat?
Or reflecting infrared in the escaping wavelength range, so that heat gain is offset?
Or bunkers and artificial environments for them? And the rest of us will have to take power away from them?
