Key word deleted. I got down voted for not providing specs and distro.
And yeah I've been trying to abandon Reddit but I guess that makes me a troll. I posted a second question regarding my hard drive on reddit because the first post got too much Linux defenders. I'll probably post the question here too, to see which community is more helpful.
Ah yep that makes sense. Forgive the suspicion, we have some "characters" here that repost the same question over and over, and delete their previous ones.
If you do decide to continue using Lemmy, just For Your Information: Downvotes don't really mean much here. There's no karma, and since the community is so small, people will still see your post even if it's "negative". In fact, some people specifically search for controversial and negative posts using the sort function as they're considered interesting. Generally we try not to delete posts, as it removes already limited content; some communities even have rules against it. Good luck with finding a solution!
