That's easy, the murderer now gets the winnings, as the win is connected to the life and he clearly took the other persons life.

Interesting question - I suspect it depends on the details.

Is it a winning lottery ticket? Then that ticket is still a winner, and probably belongs to his estate.

If they've completed all the documents for regular payments (or lump-sum), that money goes with the estate.

Generally these "lifetime" things are clarified as exact dollar amounts.
