Bee boo bee boo bee boo
Yea, me too. This is what I do in my educational (f)art project. I'm a fartist, obviously, and I am one big, cohesive piece of fart. It all adds up to something, believe it or not!

If you're strong enough
Got me banned from reddit and now I'm here so I'd say in a weird ironic sense, sorta?
If I win it’s worth it
I wonder if this is the human hive mind just reacting to itself?
I think we're in this proto-unified consciousness where we're adapting before eventually we get bored of arguing and all land on the same page.
Humans are gonna human. Think about it, every country started out as little groups of people, then villages, towns, cities, counties, states, countries, treaties and then continents. Within that, every single stage had a period where they'd fight amongst themselves.
I guess where just in the place now, but on a globally conscious level.
We're about to achieve world peace, I think after the next war, once we realise we're all the same, and technology continues to mitigate language barriers, it's done.
I think things are slowly trending toward what you describe, but I don't see war being over for a long time. Especially if global warming causes famine and such
My favorite place to go to argue with people is the minutephysics' portal paradox videos. People are extremely firm in their conclusions (me included). That makes it an interesting place for practicing on making fair, understandable arguments against people who are firmly locked on the opposite side.
It's a relief to have those heated arguments without having it about something that directly involves people's lives.
Honestly arguing? No
Discussing is great and fun. If you bump into people who are honestly arguing then trolling becomes enjoyable.
Worth what? It’s basically free.
Honestly, I might start cutting back on commenting. Lemmy feels like half of it is just ragebait.
I understand that this is a new platform and it wants engagement but I can't be bothered.
I'm starting to see the action of deleting a half finished comment as a win, rather than a loss.
I can say with certainty; y'all have it coming!
Feels great. Hope those other people figure thier shit out someday.
I kind of hate it. I'm interested in other people's opinions and like to learn new perspectives, but some people, especially here, tend to aggressively misinterpret comments and go hard with angry emotional responses. It happened to me recently, and I just responded and blocked the guy outright. You can usually tell from the outset when someone is immediately insulting. I used to push back, but block them before they can get their claws into me.
sounds like a strawman fallacy to me bro.
btw did you know i am the supreme being of all logical argument? sorry to inform you, but your existence is a logical fallacy, and mine is the one that holds all logical thought ever together. just like Loki in that tv show, the universe of all realities hinges on my internet comments.
