I've seen a Claude screenshot posted in a community of computer scientists where it “proved” P=NP through circular reference and cursed mathematics.

For context, P and NP are sets of problems. If an algorithm exists where the time it takes to determine if a solution to a problem is correct scales polinomially relative to its input size, it's in NP. If the time to solve the problem scales polinomially, it's also in P, a subset of NP.

The question now is if P = NP: Is every problem we can verify in polinomial time also solvable in polinomial time? We just don't know, although we think it probably isn't. But that's just a guess.

So someone asked Claude and it came up with: https://fixupx.com/connacher_/status/2079541927553212471 which, to a maths person, is hillariously incorrect.

I just don't trust in AI's ability to reliably produce true statements.

No teachers means none of those pesky "mandatory reporters".

To certain parents, that $40k is cheap insurance against little Liam or Olivia running their mouth.

Idk how anyone who is a parent would believe sending their kid to a giant experiment would be the best thing for them. Then take into consideration this costs 40k and I can't think of anyone who is paying that much for higher education would ever think this is the best option available for the price. I hope it fails as hard as I see it fail in my head.

Also the comments about how they won't pay teachers like they pay AI is an understatement. AI took over so fast and shoved in peoples faces that a lot of people are just realizing your not saving any money by replacing people since the AI as a whole cost more than all the individuals you let go! Its like they missed the memo that it needs to be cheaper for most companies to try it but instead it cost a fortune to do worse work and hold no accountability if something does go wrong.

So they want ever single student to pay an entry-level teacher's full salary to then not pay a single teacher... and even then only get 2 hours of AI driven "education" in 4 subjects per day. And then a, what, 4-6 hour daily lab doing "projects" and "entrepreneurship workshops" whatever that means, broken up by a lunch break?

Sounds like they are trying to make more stupid capitalists with the 5 students that actually succeed with this model and leave the rest of the failures as stupid Republican voters that envy the capitalists.

I feel sorry for the kids that may be sent there with no idea what injustice is being done unto them.

At $40,000 per-annum for tuition, the parents of these forsaken children are likely already corrupt, ignorant, and narcissistic.

The only good that could come from this is that taking the children away from such "parents" will prevent them from imparting their ideologies down to younger generations.

This reminds me of the time when the Nazis opened a hospital with only homeopathic treatments. That went about as well as you'd expect. Just like it'll go this time.

Hey, remember school during COVID? When most kids wouldn't even bother turning their cameras on for remote learning? That worked out real well. What these dickheads are trying to push ignores the social aspect of learning. Sure, some people can learn in isolation, but many/most of us benefit from being around others. Processing information involves synthesizing your own thoughts, but also analyzing the thoughts and behaviors of others around you. And this doesn't even consider the motivation that a good teacher can provide and how it can build self esteem and self efficacy. The content, while not insignificant, is a vehicle to help people learn how to think, and not just acquisition of facts.

Okay, so most working people wouldn't be able to afford that, especially in *waves hand* pretty much the entirety of Oklahoma. Maybe a few millionaires will send their kids there, and they can support those useless adults through adulthood, and leave them their estate when they die.

Doesn't seem like a very good long-term strategy, though.
