And while I'm at it, can I have a car that isn't just spyware disguised as a fancy iPad?

I do use Linux at home, but work forces me to use Windows.

I use cloud storage.

At my company computer, I drop my backups to cloud if I forget my portable drive at home. At my home computer I pull those from cloud and store them on my home server.

That's about as far as I trust cloud storage.

And because one drive can go wrong and just delete all your files. Oops, sync error.

When it's my backups, then only one idiot can delete all my files.

That feeling that I don't know where the files actually are.. I never had that. I knew where I put my files.

But then SharePoint happened. And then onedrive. Is it shared? Where everywhere is it?

Of course you can look some of those things up. But is that information trustworthy?

Corporations are prying the data from our hands.

What about if we silently upload your files from your documents folder to OneDrive and replace them with links to the OneDrive copy, so that they stop working if you ever delete OneDrive?

No OneDrive on Linux, but as a personal rule rather than an incorrect statement.
