According to UNICEF, 21,289 children have been killed in Gaza.[3] The World Health Organisation calculated that in 2023 one child was being killed every ten minutes.[4]

Israel and their supporter's actions are disgusting. When you find yourself defending this, you've lost all moral compass. Jillian Segal should be in prison for promoting and materially supporting a terrorist organisation not empowered to turn the screws on other Australians/organisations to accept her vacuous and genocidal narrative.

Fuck Israel. Unrepentent child murderers.

I think theres more going on than what the government is admitting to. I think they've made the calculation that they don't have broad enough support to really push back hard, which basically makes Australia cucks to whatever the orange cheeto and the child murderers desire.

But this is me speculating, because I can't fathom why a government that bases itself on broadly humanitarian principles wouldn't be acting in the way the Spanish government has been acting.

To your question my impression is that indeed there's much more going on and it doesn't affect just our govt. It is a world-wide situation of a type of entrapment. The Spanish govt happens to be a left-leaning one in a sea of right-wing ruing class collaborators both in Europe and in the Americas. The current govt in Spain is likely to lose the elections next year and then we're likely to get another boot-licking right wing govt (I hope I'm wrong).

On the side of hope, there's more people speaking up everywhere despite Israel and its networks being rabid for control and a lot of people being blackmailed, bought or otherwise compromised. It is spending hundreds of $ millions to keep narrative control and/or distraction so as to consolidate its physical takeover in the ME and political grasp everywhere else it can. Penny Wong is finally voicing objection more publicly and the Sumud Flotilla people have gotten through to her.

Israel's own dehumanised behaviour will be its downfall, including the way it cynically announced no criminal investigation of the killing of Zomi and the other aid workers on World Humanitarian Worker Day. Israel is drunk with fear and hate. It is pathological.

We need to keep calling out all the lies relentlessly. Everyday that passes another child (or children) is being murdered by Israel.
