I feel called out. Except my mechanical watch is a vintage USSR Podeba. And my 2001 car is a Lexus.

Hey, I've got the Vostok "Scuba Dude" Amphibia self winder dive watch and the Komandirskie army version manual wind. Rugged and reliable after all these years!
Y'all seem cool as hell, you should leave your basement so we can meet sometime.
I have damn near everything in this photo except it's a 91 Honda accord and I don't have a PS2, I have an original Wii. I feel suspiciously called out.
My real car is a 97 Honda Prelude, and yes, it is a manual. When my 2012 Civic had a dead starter motor, that Prelude was my daily driver for six months until the weather cooled off enough to actually do the job.
The Prelude is definitely more of a project/weekend car. Every car guy knows you never project your daily, but I feel pretty comfy dailying my project lol
Dude, that GE clock is the best, that watch is also solid af. Plus look at all those nice old receivers, I bet they sound great.
Also what’s the hate on the tire gauge? Does another kind exist other than a slide stick? Does another fancier kind even need to exist?
Stick pressure gauges are bad.
Bourdon pressure gauges are the only pressure gauge to get. (Not bourdon brand but one that uses what is known as a bourdon tube).
They are analogue AND reliable over the long term.

Name something I can’t do with Debian stable.
Pretty much any experimental Nvidia feature. By the time you have it working you aren't on debian anymore and have basically butchered the distro beyond reasoning.
The Toyota XV10 Camry is the best car ever produced and that’s a hill I’m willing to die on.
Wait. Are you my Dad?
As I grow older, I began relating to this list more and more. But as one who is born closer to the 2000’s and raised by a sheltered, buys-only-brand-names parent; I find myself paralyzed when attempting to buy from used goods vendors that these things are only found at these days. Judging if “they’re still good” is a skill issue.
(I also use Ubuntu for similar reasons)
It's missing daily medication for old age related illnesses and glasses.
I'm in this picture based on vibes, but don't possess the goods listed there.
Wow, I actually have the exact same radio alarm clock as the one pictured in the top right.
I don't mind at all if people think I'm old, I kind of am.
Thing is, fancy new containerised packages have really changed the dynamic here.
I don't care if gnome is 5 years old. Everything I actually use is up to date.
I feel there should be a classic leatherman utility knife in here too lol
I will brook no argument regarding Hamilton field watches. Buy one, wind it, wear it. Start living a better life.
May someone explain the audio (or video, idk) cabinet stacked like a 20u rack? Why so many devices? What would each be for?
Yep. I need my computer to work so I can use it to make interesting stuff. I'm completely uninterested on the computer itself.
AFAIK, there's currently 1 option of OS that works.
How am I supposed to check tire pressure without a pressure gauge? My manual transmission is reliable and so is my alarm clock.
The mint | opensuse | fedora | arch | gentoo | freebsd | openbsd | void | devuan | debian pipeline is real.
Maybe nix will pull me from depths of stability soon before I get overconfident, try LFS, and promptly switch to pen & paper.
(Or try bedrock linux and spend rest eternity in the purgatory equivalent of distro-hopping)
