Since UE5 all new major games look exactly the same. Well, at least I will be saving lots of money.

I'm still not sure if I want to get a Switch 2 over this as much as I love OoT (and the Zelda version of the Switch looks really nice). But the Link and Zelda amiibo statues are so cute, I might grab those just to put on my shelf.
let me guess... this will cost just as much as a new, original, top tier title made this year
Luckily there are exactly 3 games coming out this year to be excited for, so it's fine anyway.

Looks like it’s going to be very close to the original, at least judging by the scenes they chose for the trailer. The camera and scenarios look 1:1 identical to OOT. I like that!
Hope they introduce some bonus content or an Easter egg, but I do think that being faithful to the original is a the right choice.
Uncanny valley where nobody wants this, identityless UE5 visual style, but it's a box check to sell more copies.. aka, soulless, greedy slop.
It looks like it's gonna be bad.
If it's unlikely to be better than the original, the only reason for it to exist is to make money.
Also what in garbage name is that awful voice acting? If there's better voice acting in WWF, your voice acting sucks piss.
I just want the people making games to care about us again and stop making things that are clearly, so blatantly, insultingly soulless garbage just to extract money from us and play on the weak minded who are slaves to their nostalgia and have no self control.
Stop giving people that make shit like this money.

Well, this looks like great fun with the kids. Hope we get a PC version:)
oh great… another remake…
So it appears to be a 1:1 straight remake, but with modern graphics, better sound and probably some improvements to the UI.
I'll be honest though; I preferred how all the characters looked in the 3DS remaster. Oh well; I don't have a Switch 2 anyway, so it's not like I was gonna get this either way.
They mention that you can run around some of the areas that were previously just backgrounds in the original, so I suspect there will be some new content there at least. And a some cool new UI elements and ocarina accessibility stuff has been added if you're into that. Time will tell how similar it will be to the original, but either way, I'm feeling pretty excited for it!
That was Castle Town, there's also the Temple of Time entrance, there's not that many maps where the OG just had a literal JPG flat background. And we saw Castle Town in the demo, it's still a 1:1 map with the exact same town square, the same people, the same shops, and the same back alley, not a single change. Everything they showed had the exact same flat ground, flat walls, square rooms - only the Gerudo Hideout has ONE extra pillar stump that appears to go up to the cell you escape out of with the hookshot. Only Hyrule Field seems to have more variety and UE5 look in the hills and river banks and apparently a spot where the river kind of becomes a mini swamp area with Tektites (not sure which map that shot was in the trailer, could be the drained Lake Hylia)
It's looking like the maps will be 1:1 down to the pixel, only filled up with space in the area past Castle Town walking up the guard trail to the castle. Except Kakariko where they apparently flipped the Skulltula house and the construction spot with the cuccoo coop in the back, for some weird reason?
