ITT: People who have apparently never heard of a Bluetooth shower speaker.

This is the way 👆

I want to do this but the music would be too loud so it would make me uncomfortable

I sometimes take mine to the shower room, when I'm in the middle of a podcast pr something I wanna finish listening to, but then I'm quickly reminded of what a welcome reprieve a shower is of the constant media bombardment hellscape we exist in.

I want a shower I can lay down in. That would be nice. I miss having one I can sit down in. It was great for meditation.

Picture yourself laying down in warm rain. Now picture yourself sitting in warm water. See, the difference? One I find more relaxing than the other.

I see. But the most common type of bath I know of is a shower-over-bath!

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 3 points 47 minutes ago

We have one. It's too small to lay down on my back in. I can't even sit comfortably in it. It's so narrow.

So just don’t stop up the drain when you’re laying down in the tub while the shower is running? I’m with @FishFace@piefed.social on this one - a shower that you have space to lay down in is a tub. Is this maybe a language barrier thing?

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 2 points 52 minutes ago

I'd need a bigger bathtub. I mean laying down flat on my back. English is my mother tongue (sadly).

[–] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago

Right? I want a shower with one of those fancy fold down cedar chairs

[–] AVincentInSpace@pawb.social 10 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

It's waterproof and I wanna listen to podcasts

[–] Opisek@piefed.blahaj.zone 22 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Water resistant*

The difference is, if you do end up getting some water damage, the manufacturer will tell you to go please yourself!

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 15 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Which you can also do in the shower.

[–] affenlehrer@feddit.org 10 points 3 hours ago

With the phone. It's can vibrate and show porn.

[–] Delilah@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 hours ago

The difference is that waterproof means absolutely nothing.

[–] daggermoon@piefed.world 3 points 2 hours ago

I can take my phone in the shower?
