Why are there 2 New Englands in this picture?

Would love to see it, but Texas is going to want independence (there's just too much ego on the subject in that state). And the centre bit of "South Canada" (Wyoming, Nebraska etc) is chock full of MAGAts. They're not joining.
South Canada might be Washington state and maybe Oregon Idaho and Nevada. New England would probably want to stand alone but some might fold into Canada - Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire might prefer Canada to getting sucked into a NYC controlled nexus.
Dunno if Canada would want NYC - too many people - would very much unbalance the power balances, more likely NYC picks up the rest of New England. California would be a good cultural match but like Texas I suspect they'll want to go alone (and are a good chance of grabbing the rest of "Cascadia")

Anyway, semi serious response to a joke, so yeah I get it, wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but there is a really high probability of the US breaking apart in the next decade or so.
I won't accept this until Florida becomes part of Mexico and there will be at least one First Nations country.
