Gas prices are reaching record levels and bringing the Bolt back is a "huge mistake". Hard to wrap my head around any of this making sense outside of short term investor concerns.
Electric Vehicles
Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

No one can afford a detached house without an Hoa to install a charger
Most people don't even need to install a charger.
If you have a normal 120V 25A circuit available, you can just plug in a 20A charger and get ~40miles every night. Unless you average more than 250miles a week on your car, you'll be fine with a normal outlet.
But with gas prices what they are today, even in an apartment, having to pay for public charging is quite a bit cheaper than gas.
HOAs do not prevent chargers or anything in your garage.
The US EV market is pathetic. Half of all EV sales are just two Tesla models. All the other auto makers are competing for the other half, of a shrinking pie. That pie isn't big enough for Chevy to offer both a small electric SUV and an electric subcompact SUV, that's in a similar price range. The Equinox EV is the better selling model so it makes sense they'd keep that one and ditch the Bolt.
people just dont want to deal with dealers
