Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking Saudi Arabia's approval, through U.S. mediation, for Israel to join the campaign against Yemen's Houthis, a diplomatic source told Haaretz, adding that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman opposes Israeli military involvement because of the likely backlash among the kingdom's public.

Riyadh does not want Israeli jets over Yemen with Israeli markings on them. The crown prince's objection is the real story. Saudi needs the Houthis contained, not a visible Israeli footprint that hands Tehran the sectarian argument for free.

Israel wants normalization with Saudi so they will openly support Israel and buy their weapons like the UAE and Morocco do

if they do they would likely start expanding the occupied territory into saudi arabia over the years. it starts as a "justified military presence" and then develops into full occupation. of course what the prince says is real, too, though.

MBS is an incredibly weak leader so it's very possible he chooses the short term solution of letting Israel take over the place but in the long term that's guaranteed to come back and haunt the Saudis

Very doubtful .why not letting arabs fighting each other while the terrorist state focus on finishing Palestine and Lebanon
