Meanwhile, today I got a Facebook ad of a girl fingering herself. I didn't hate it, it just surprised me.
The only reason I created Facebook account was to be able to chat with other people I met. Wish signal/matrix were more popural, or if you could chat with anyone through any app since they all use your phone number anyway.
I keep my FB and Insta accounts only because so many of my friends still use them. Someday I hope they'll see the light, too.
if you are not available on fb and insta, but on some fediverse alternative instead, don't you think they will find the light a bit faster?
Exactly. My FB profile only still exists as a way to direct people to Signal. Messages on Meta, if I ever even see them, are ignored.
