This only matters if they do a fucking lot to make up for their harm, in perpetuity. Saying it means nothing, doing one thing is insulting, they have l literally years and lost lives to atone for.
Short of that they can go fuck themselves. It's not up to us to be the good guy after years of them gleefully being actual villains.

If they realize it's not just MAGA, it's all right wing politics. It's neo-liberal policies as well hurting them. Until they realize that, I doubt they'll make meaningful change.
