My spoiler free review, I think overall this worked. The premise is a little silly, but as long as you just accept it you'll be fine. The first episode didn't really pull me in, but once it got going I found it entertaining.

The ending however did not work. We set up a bunch of stuff and then give almost zero resolution. It's clear they want a season 2, but I'm not sure we get it and without one it's fun, but probably ultimately disappointing.
