Some Rules

Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

Consent will no longer be required for using data for AI development and statistical analysis purposes provided that the data does not identify individuals.

Specifically, companies will no longer need consent from individuals to collect public information on social media and other platforms, or to share corporate-held data with other companies.

Japan will do anything to stay competitive with china, bending of rules and changing of stance be it as unethical as it can be for this goal has been happening for their entire history

In March of this year, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi met with a representative of Palantir Technologies.

On Japanese social media, there are voices speculating that this relationship between Palantir and Japan may have led to the introduction of this bill.
