Basically they agreed to a pizza. So stupid.
That's between five and ten years salary for normal people.
That's a lot of pizza.
Compared with the median worker in Korea, sure. They’re getting 5-10 years salary.
Compared with peers in the same industry, they’re behind economically. But they’re ok with that, as AI is a bubble and this kind of money is only here for a couple years at most. Besides, the money-motivated can always get a job at another competitor down the line.
A bonus they aren't sure they'll receive.
Meanwhile, Samsung will keep making money off their backs.
I hope they will continue the strike, hang in there !
