In 4020 $60 will be less than 1¢ in 2026.

This is what nintendo fans will say. Even if somehow rent is $6 due to some future catastrofic events.

$6 only buys you a month of shelter. $60 buys you a lifetime of entertainment you can pass on to countless generations.

Don't forget a sense of pride and acomplishment

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 days ago

Plus it's on switch so you don't even really need shelter. You can play it anywhere!

[–] nuko147@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

Well as long as you plug the cartridges in the system once every 5-10 years.

Nukes have a wonderful deflationary effect on the economy

True That always confused me why dollar first

You say:

  1. That will be dollars 80-ty Or
  2. That will be 80-ty dollars

Maybe to visually separate the money number from a number before it? Like a date on a list of transactions.

June 5, 2026 60$ vs June 5, 2026 $60

Idk tho.

They will demand far more. Nintendo always gets far more than they are worth these days.

Fuck them.

Adjusting for inflation, yeah.

Na, one is corporate greed while the other is not diminishing the contribution of the original backers.

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Ill be honest. I only new this cuz of the g2a fight.

[–] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Wait, I'm out of the loop here. What is this G2A fight? I don't use that site because it's greymarket and often ends up not actually supporting the developers, but would still like to know what is happening.

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 11 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Old news but since factorio doesnt go on sale they were able to confirm that the keys sold by g2a were stolen.

https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2020/05/g2a-confirms-stolen-game-key-sales-pays-40000-to-factorio-devs/

[–] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 4 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Okay. I already knew that much, but thank you. Yeah that is the reason I only use IsThereAnyDeal.com to find sales, instead of like G2A/Kinguin.

[–] juipeltje@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

I only ever used g2a for some sharkcards back when i was dumb enough to buy them, but microtransactions are scummy anyway so i didn't really care if it wasn't supporting the game

aaaaa clair obscur is almost cheap enough for me to afford

That’s optimistic.
